These Terms of Service govern your use of Pet Passport. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the app.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Pet Passport, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you are legally able to enter this agreement and that information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
The Service
Pet Passport is a planning and organization tool that helps you store pet travel documents, generate informational checklists, and look up nearby veterinary clinics, pet stores, and parks. It is not a government authority, airline, veterinarian, customs broker, pet-sitting marketplace, or booking service.
Acceptable Use
- Use the service only for lawful purposes related to your pets.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to store or share.
- Do not attempt to access another user’s data, disrupt the service, or reverse engineer the app except as allowed by law.
- Do not use Pet Passport to provide regulated veterinary or legal advice to others as if it were professional counsel.
- Do not abuse Local Pet Concierge (for example automated scraping or attempts to bypass rate limits).
User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for verifying that documents you upload are accurate, complete, current, and sufficient for your specific airline, route, and destination country. Official entry, health, and carrier rules change frequently. Always confirm requirements directly with your veterinarian, airline, and relevant government authorities before travel. You are also responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Intellectual Property
Pet Passport’s software, branding, and content (excluding your uploaded documents and pet data) remain our property or that of our licensors. You retain ownership of content you upload and grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the service. Business names, addresses, ratings, and other listing details shown in Local Pet Concierge belong to Google and the listed businesses; Pet Passport does not claim ownership of that data.
Local Pet Concierge
Local Pet Concierge is an optional informational feature. When you open it, we look up publicly listed businesses via Google Places and generate a short summary with Google Gemini. Listings, hours, ratings, and “open now” status may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Mentions of pet-sitting apps come from general model knowledge, not a live booking inventory. We do not endorse, inspect, or contract with any clinic, store, park, or sitter. We do not make appointments, process payments for those businesses, or provide veterinary, medical, or emergency care. Always confirm hours, services, and licensing directly with the provider before you rely on a listing — especially in a medical emergency.
Disclaimer of Liability
Pet Passport provides compliance checklists based on general airline and destination guidelines. Travel regulations change frequently. Pet Passport is a planning assistant tool and does not guarantee airline acceptance, customs entry, or boarding for any pet. Checklists, rule suggestions, and local concierge listings are informational aids only and may be incomplete or outdated. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pet Passport and its operators are not liable for denied boarding, quarantine fees, travel disruptions, veterinary or regulatory penalties, harm arising from reliance on a listed business or sitter suggestion, lost or delayed flights, or any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on its checklists, concierge results, exports, or stored documents. Always verify requirements directly with your airline and veterinarian.
Billing and Subscriptions
Pet Passport offers four paid options. USD is the list price. ₹ amounts are India reference prices. Apple, Google, or Razorpay may show a localized amount at checkout.
- Weekly Trip Pass — $6.99 USD (₹450) per week, auto-renewing. Unlimited pets, vault documents, and exports for a short travel window. 5 local searches per day.
- Monthly Pro — $15.99 USD (₹900) per month, auto-renewing. Unlimited pets and exports, 5 local searches per day.
- Annual VIP — $119.99 USD (₹9,999) per year, auto-renewing. Unlimited pets, exports, and local searches.
- Single Export — $6.99 USD (₹450) one-time passport export. Not a subscription. 3 pets max. No locality features.
Weekly, monthly, and annual plans are auto-renewing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID through the App Store (Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement / EULA applies), to your Google Play account through Google Play Billing, or — for website checkout by Indian users — through Razorpay at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current weekly, monthly, or annual period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Website Razorpay charges are billed in INR. Deleting the app does not cancel a store subscription.
Apple, Google, and Razorpay are the merchants of record for their respective checkouts. RevenueCat receives purchase tokens, product identifiers, transaction metadata, and an app user ID so we can unlock Weekly, Monthly, or Annual access, grant export credits, and restore purchases. We do not store raw credit card numbers. Refunds for store purchases are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. Razorpay website refunds are handled by us through that processor.
Promo codes that grant complimentary access are redeemed only on our website. The iOS and Android apps do not accept license keys. Restore Purchases is available in Settings and on the paywall for store purchases. If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use Restore Purchases with the same Apple ID or Google account used to buy, or sign in with the same email used to redeem a website promo.
Promotional and Beta Periods
During Early Access Beta, or when we grant complimentary time through a website promo code, you may receive up to six months of Pro+ (or another stated period) without adding a payment method. Users granted 6 months of free access during the Early Access Beta will not be automatically rolled into a paid Weekly, Monthly, or Annual subscription unless they explicitly opt in with a payment method after the promotional period ends. When the promotional window expires, the account returns to the free limits unless you start a paid plan. We will not store or charge a card on file for a promo-only grant.
Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time as described on our Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
